Metronet Vandalia

The speed is great when it works. We have Internet connectivity issues 2-3x daily when it just stops working for minutes at a time. Random websites don't load and then you switch to 5G/LTE and they instantly load. Switch back to Metronet connection and they don't load anymore. My wife and I both work remotely and I have dropped a lot of calls and virtual meetings since switching over to them. Spectrum never had this problem.

Rhonda with customer service went above what I was expecting to take care of my inquiry. So far I am happy I switched to Metronet for my Internet service.

Horrible company with no integrity that does not stand behind their work or correct their mistakes. They ran over my garden hoses and plants and will not replace. Return phones calls are not followed up on. I spoke with Dan and he said his boss said no receipts no replace. I don't keep receipts on small purchases. Will be canceling services and I would reccomend you do the same. You can clearly see in the attached video as he runs over my hoses and into my newly installed landscaping. I am still waiting on a response from upper management.

Totally trashing yards including burying garbage or leaving it on private property. Absolutely abhorrent company with zero respect. We won't be customers now. They also take 0 responsibility destroying property, denting fences, and much more. It appears going through the reviews this company has a solid history of trespassing and damaging property in our area. They haven't changed for a year, maybe longer, so they aren't sorry at all. Their responses are just chatter. They usually cancel or no show on the complaints.

If their contractors show up in your neighborhoods be prepared for damage to anything that gets in the way. Also, double check your fenced in back yards for open gates if you have dogs. We had many pets running loose. I work from home so most of the time I was here when they entered my backyard. I discovered damage to my vinyl privacy fence during Spring cleanup. They use throw weights to get cable through the trees and I watched them do it several times but did not see the damage until I was cleaning up my yard. I called customer service and reported it, a person named Rob called me on February 23 and said he would stop by at 12 pm to take a look. He was a "no show". I am not a Metronet customer and never want to be their customer. If you want further proof of their performance. Go to the Better Business Bureau it is filled with complaints and 1 star reviews.
