Great atmosphere! Clean, quiet rooms and easy off and on to the turnpike. Lots of shopping and restaurants.

We came into town and wanted a hotel that was close to a bunch of restaurants and things to do..Perfect for that. However, there were several things wrong with our stay. 1 The pool looked nothing like the pictures ( water is a green color and smelled kind of sour..when we returned to our room and hung our shorts to dry, they had begun to emit a soured smell which made the bathroom stink). 2 The bed is kind of uncomfortable. I have back issues and have awakened to severe pains (stiffness) every morning around 4. 3 At check-in, we came to our room, which smelled very clean. We left for 2 hrs and came back to our room, reeking of cigarette smoke.. 4 Used the stairs to go to the first floor, and that hallway has smelled like marijuana a few times...(It doesn't bother me, but we have a kid, and he doesn't need to be around it.) He has made mention of the smell several times. Other than those few things, it has been an enjoyable stay. Rooms: Spacious and clean Nearby activities: There is plenty to do and places to eat. Food & drinks: Nice little continental breakfast

The good: Very clean, new rooms Putting green outside The bad: Loud, I know it was Friday during spring break but it was extremely noisy not to mention I could hear every noise the people in the next room made like I was in their room with them. Certainly not worth $150 for a deluxe room to listen to neighbors conversations. They take cash for the market but not for rooms. Even when their credit card system was down and declining a whole lobby full of guests credit cards they would not accept cash. They claim it's for safety. Sorry if someone is desperate enough to hold the place up $30 in market cash they are more dangerous than someone going to hold the place up for a $1000 in hotel stay money. Not taking cash absolutely ticks me off. I just got to hang out with the other guests whose cards were declining until the staff was able to get a manager on the phone to handle their credit card issues. I understand the credit card system being down is out of the staff's control but for Pete's sake take my cash and let me check into my room. My evening plans were to hang out with my wife in the room for our anniversary not with the Jones family from Des Moines in the lobby. Rooms: New rooms that are very clean
