My husband has guardianship over his mother and we hired Kirsten Bernhardt to appear in court regarding ensuring his mother's wishes and quality of life was carried out per her written wishes. Kirsten Bernhard readily admitted in court that she could not find her glass the night before and therefore did not read a single document in our file. She then proceeded to ignore her client's wishes and when the judge put everyone in a room to come to an agreement, Kirsten Bernhardt promptly proceeded to make an agreement with and listen to the one person who did not have guardianship. Simply because this person could not deal with her mother having dementia and was afraid she would lose her monetary inheritance and conveniently started to cry the only time she needed to ensure she kept her monetary inheritance which Kirsten Bernhardt would have know if she would have read one single document in the file provided to her. Instead our mother now sits in her home wherein her life is slowly desiccating before our eyes while two of her children waits for her to die to ensure they receive their inheritance and have their retirement backup plan at their mother's expense. From a person who has taken care of their mother day in and day out for the past three years, if you love your parent and loved ones I highly recommend that you do your research and find a lawyer who has a moral compass and ethics. Kirsten Bernhardt is nothing more than a reminder of one of the worst mistakes of our lives and the life of a mother we love and will continue to love until our dying day. Attorney Kirsten Bernhardt is not qualified to do Adult Guardianship cases and has absolutely no ethics to her clients who paid good money for representation. Kirsten Bernhardt will treat you as if you were a piece of gum stuck on the floor of the courthouse hallway that she accidentally stepped in. To those out there that needs a lawyer, my advice is to research your lawyer and remember they work for you. It is their sworn oath to represent you and your best interest. If your lawyer does not listen to you kindly get up and walk away. Take it from me. Walking away from Kirsten Bernhardt is the best thing we have ever done!

She knows her stuff!! I would say a fireball of information. When others dont know what to do, she does. She digs deeper then most for information on the law to solve your problem. I have experienced this personally with her on more then one case. Tenacity comes to mind to describe her. She doesnt quit and is a fighter. She holds her ground. I would highly recommend using her services. Its in your best interest .
