I've been contemplating purchasing my meat and poultry from local butchers here in Tulsa. I watched a video about a rancher who was warning the public about some stockyards gassing their beef, pork and poultry...then selling to chain stores. He warned that the toxicity using such a method...could be fatal. The sign, he said, was the bright red color. Long story short... Tulsa Beef & Provision was the first local butcher that I connected with. I purchased 10oz ribeyes, 16oz T-bones as well as 90/10 ground beef and poultry. The ground beef actually had some real flavor... and, the chicken was tender and scrumptious. I'm confident the steaks will taste just as great. I may try others local butchers; but, i will definitely order from this vendor again.
