I had a difficult, unusual case where a woman wanted to buy my car, took it to have it checked out by a friend who was a mechanic then put money into fixing it up like new expecting me to reimburse her even though I had told her I was selling it as is. At that point she never paid me a dime for the car and wouldnt bring it back to me. She had it for 9 months without paying a dime & kept giving me dates she was going to pay me then just wouldnt show up. I had no choice but to go through the court system. Small claims court was the best choice and I had hired Tom DiMarcurio at Okla Legal Documents to have her served by subpoena. He did an excellent job trying to serve her but she wouldnt answer the door - after telling him she was the person - and avoided him at work when he knew she was there. He suggested I talk to Zach Enlow for whom hed done quite a bit of work and continue with an attorney helping me. It was excellent advice. Zach agreed to take the case and Im forever grateful he did. He prepared me for what my options were and was with me every step of the way. He advised me to make an great effort in mediation and suggested coming down quite a bit on the price to make sure she would accept the offer. The mediator tried to explain to the woman who stole the car that it would be to her great advantage to settle now - that she would have to pay court costs and the full amount for the care if it went to trial. But the woman arrogantly made the very poor decision not to accept. So Zach represented me in court before the judge. He did an excellent job questioning me and her & Tom D. on relevant issues. He was very professional before the judge. The judge ruled in my favor which was decided on the preponderance of the evidence both sides presented. Having Zach was such a help to me. He knew and explained the law and rules of evidence to me and Im not sure if I could have gotten over all the hurdles along the way without him. I read his background & admire his service to the country and will appreciate his and Toms help forever
