        Needed the tank inlet from house replaced. Gerry was prompt and squeezed us in for a quick turnaround. Price was fair and service great. We've used him and Drain Doctors for several years...Would give 6 stars if I could!

        They cleaned our septic line and told us it was all fixed and should be fine. 3 months later it was clogged again so we called for their services. They were extremely rude, said they would not work on it again, said we had not been following their instructions to flush the toilets frequently (which we had been doing). The woman in the office called my 90-year-old mother at 7:30 a.m., woke her up and rudely said she was going to retire and they would not help us. We weren't asking for anything free, we assumed we would pay for their services. Incredibly unprofessional, they do not do good work or stand behind their work. I see a lot of good reviews here so I can only think the company is in decline prior to going out of business. We will certainly never hire them again. Service: Outdoor plumbing system repair

      I understand your frustration, but the problem is with the low-flow toilets. You have been a valued customer since 2008, and we have serviced your septic system five times in that period without incident. It seems that the problems started when the low-flow toilets were installed.During the last visit, we used a video camera on the mainline, and it was clear. The problem comes from toilet paper etc., not getting to the septic tank. This problem happens due to the pipe size, which is four inches and not designed for low flow toilets. The debris does not travel to the septic tank, causing stoppages in the line. The toilet needs to be flushed more often to prevent this from happening with a low-flow toilet on a four-inch main.I am sorry you felt I was rude. It was not my intention. And the reason for calling at 7:30 is because that is when we open. I wanted to help you as quickly as possible.Bottomline there needs to be more water volume in that line to prevent this from reoccurring. The toilets should be flushed two or three times in a row to increase the water volume going through the pipe. I understand you have been flushing more often, but it still appears to be insufficient.
