Currently in process of buying here. Agent and support team are really helpful. Im impressed with their communication. Just wondering the history of the name Faraday. Why was this name chosen? Was a fan of holt home until the HOA sent me a nasty letter. Will never buy a holt home again unless they get rid of HOA 5 stars without the HOA.

Was 5 star but my latest experience with the HOA has allowed me to give a better review. I travel a lot and the ccr regarding rubbish and recycle bins should be updated. Not happy and will never buy a holt home again just because of the HOA management company.

Rest assure if you move here all of the ground work is solid meaning the hillsides are stable, the sanity and storm systems are top notch and the water system is pexpipe to the houses...

Please be cautious, future homeowners. This account reflects our journey of purchasing and living in a house built by Holt Homes, thinking it would be our longtime home. Despite the initial excitement, the experience became a series of disappointments, serious concerns, and a technician putting my families lives in danger. Our troubles began at the design center, where we realized we had been misled about receiving an enclosed bonus room. The company brushed this off as a misunderstanding between a 'loft' and a 'bonus room.' Further, upon moving in, we discovered no access from our covered patio to the yard. Their excuse? The need for a permit to install stairs, which we ended up installing ourselves. Issues piled up from the very first month - ineffective air conditioning, a faulty thermostat, an improperly installed hot water system, poorly framed doors, and hazardous carpet nails. Despite several warranty visits, these problems were repeatedly ignored or inadequately addressed. For instance, it took six agonizing months before our hot water system worked as expected due to incorrectly installed piping. Our attempt to install solar panels exposed further incompetence: the roof was inadequately attached with multiple unstable areas. A professional inspection revealed even more faults, and the builder's response was dreadfully slow. A distressing episode occurred during a mold discovery in our closet. Two days before my wife's scheduled labor induction, Holt sent a confrontational technician who endangered my family with his hostility and refused to maintain decorum. All that was asked was that the technician keep his voice down as my toddler was upstairs sleeping. Shockingly, this escalated to him falsely accusing me of assault and revealing he had entered our home armed and ready to use his concealed weapon (to shoot me). Instead of doing his job, the technician chose to tell lie after lie after lie. When in reality he put my wife, unborn child, toddler in grave danger. Holt Homes' response was as alarming as the incident, as they staunchly defended the technician's reprehensible conduct. This ordeal underscores the builder's disregard for customer well-being and safety. We advise extreme prudence to anyone considering a purchase from this company. Their support post-purchase is deeply flawed, reflecting a culture that accepts dangerous and unprofessional behavior. Pictures below show that the roofing installation from the very time it was installed was done poorly, and causing multiple leaks.
