        I'm sure this guy does great work but we couldn't get him on the phone and the address listed on Google is his personal address to a residence. So that was a little awkward when we tried to stop by and speak to someone.

        John Freshwater is a master craftsman. He beautifully restored an antique Victorian armchair with a broken back for us. No one but another expert would know that it had been repaired.

        During my relocation, one of the table legs from my 1954 dining table cracked. I discovered Mr. Freshwater's business listing on Yelp and gave him a call. After sending some pictures of the piece via text, he was confident he could have it looking like new, or pretty close to it. His shop is located in Creswell, which is 12 miles south of Eugene via the 5. I picked up the restored leg a couple of weeks later and I am happy to report it was just as he'd promised. His quote was reasonable as well. Having made the trip down to Creswell, I decided to stop into the Creswell Bakery. Worth the stop!
