Went in to ask a couple of questions regarding a small estate Im handling and was blown away by McKenzie Tax Services principal, Doris. Knowledgeable, friendly and able to communicate effectively and efficiently she explained the law and my options, highlighting what she thought might be the best strategy. Hard to find places like this anymore. Im coming back and you should too.

I dropped off my taxes in March. They said they would be done in a couple weeks since mine are straight forward (2 jobs with W4s,no properties owned, etc.) I had some questions about my 2nd job and how to file which is why I came to them.   Two weeks went by, I called, they were not done. 2 more weeks went by, called, still not done. After a 2 months, I called, they were not done so I let them know I would be coming to pick up my documents and file them myself. My file was lost, they had no idea where they were. And they didn't seem to care that they couldn't find it. I asked if they would call me if  they found it and the response was an exhausting look, as if looking for my documents was a burden on them. I could not complete them on my own if I wanted to.  I was upset with this news. I was also informed I would have to pay the extension now. Now, mid-June, they have located the file.  They found my binder, finally!  They still are not completed.  This news also upset me. I trusted the previous person's review on yelp, which you should 100% ignore!  This business is a mess, very disorganized. I question how they have been able to stay in business for over 20 years.   I explained how they put me in a situation to owe more money. Her words, "That's your problem".(!!!) Wow.

I was recommended by a friend and Im very glad I was. I was helped out with my situation very well. They greeted me with great customer service that made me feel welcomed and comfortable. Would definitely go back again and recommend
