BEWARE: The Lakeside Gardens experience was very disappointing! the venue was beautiful but the food was awful! 6 years ago I had a wedding at this place and at that time they had wonderful service and wonderful food. Guests after the wedding came up to me and complained to me on how the meat was raw, when we asked for it to be well done and it wad completely under seasoned, plus is had a slight smell to it. The chicken was dry and disgusting to a point where I spit it out. The rest of the food was completely underseasoned and gross. I finished culinary school and I know what good food tastes like. I was so embarrassed to hear that the wedding guests were left unhappy with the food. The only thing they liked is the food we brought ourselves. I even saw a guest come up to the lady that was cutting steak and ask for an extra piece and she was arguing with him, telling him that he already has a piece! She cut the steak in super thin slices and would only plate z couple pieces! IM FURIOUS. Also they removed all the food that was at the buffet before the wedding was even over, PAID $16,000 for the venue and to have the food removed, what the heck!!! there were some guests that came after work and didn't have anything to eat. Later that evening I had family members say that they saw the servers taking the FOOD THAT WE PAID FOR BEING TAKEN HOME IN BAGS!! WHAT THE HELL!! they wouldn't serve tea even though it was in the contract, told us they're going to charge extra for it, and the punch tasted wierd. TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT. The servers took plates off the table even though several people told them that the person that was eating was going to be right back. The stalls in the mens room are ridiculous, my husband took my child to potty and didnt even know where to sit him down, the toilet was a total disaster and nobody cleaned it up..sooo gross! Total embarrassment for the food and service offered. I was shocked that 6 years later service of this place went downhill!! SUPER SAD because I'm the one who recommended this place to my family.. Replying to the reply back from lakeside gardens: Might be true on what you said and what your trained to say but thats not what happened at the wedding party. Staff was not well trained even though you say they were. They took plates without going around three times etc. Chef was not welcoming, very mean looking lady. And about the steak ppl got plates for their wifes which are obviously separate ppl and the chef just wouldn't give the steak. Also the food that bride and groom paid for (side they brought in themselves). Staff didnt want to bring out so we demanded they bring out our food we brought! Very poor experience. Staff and chef were way better and experience was 100 times better 7-8 yrs ago. I still feel like quality failed. If I didnt have previous experience to compare it to obviously I wouldnt be writing this review. Oh and just an FYI: if you want your clients/guests not complaining about the food then think about hiring a new chef.

We are so happy that we chose Lakeside Gardens for our special day. It was the perfect spot for us. We really enjoyed working with Noel (our wedding planner/coordinator) and appreciate all her efforts and answering to our multiple requests and calls to make this day so special for us. We also went with on-site makeup artist and she did a wonderful work. The place was a dreamy spot and our guests fell in love with the venue beauty and the service they received.

My husband and I got married here a few weeks ago. It was a total dream come true. Noel took care of all the details and there was absolutely nothing for me to worry about, except having a great time. The food was delicious, the grounds are beautiful, the suggested vendors were amazing. The photographer didn't mind that my uncle, also a professional photographer, brought his own camera and took pictures. The DJ had a wonderful energy, we played Lord of the Rings music for our processional. Noel kept everything flowing nicely. Any questions that we had were promptly answered. Every guest that I talked to had a wonderful time and complimented the venue/food/ceremony. I am very glad we chose this venue. I had the wedding of my dreams to the man of my dreams.
