They always answer the phone. My worker emails or calls me promptly. The one before him, her name was Penny, she was so helpful Inspectors are always nice and prompt. They come in like Tasmanian devils and it takes them around 5 min. I don't understand the other bad comments, I have never witnessed anything bad or wrong. Even the front desk is very helpful. Thank you guys for all your help and hard work. Miss you Penny

Every time I go to the store or just for a walk it is impossible not to acknowledge the issue facing Portland on homelessness. I'm on Social Security and do not make enough to afford rent on my own. I want to say Thank You Home Forward as i wake up everyday and feel so blessed to have a roof over my head. Home Forward plays a key role in many of our communities. God Bless.

Everytime I turn around I'm not on a housing list my son and I should qualify for. Yet, you'll gladly give Section 8 to people who don't want their children via DHS or to people who run from their abuser, but move him or some other John in the home via Domestic Violence. Then they(recipients) brag about how big the place is and how little they pay when they're already not doing anything with their lives and have NO plans to. My son and I need stability TOO.If any mother and child deserves housing to help GROW I think we should have had an opportunity to live in safe stable housing. I was in school trying to get a degree and would have obtained it had we not been chronically homeless. On top of not being selected for housing you'll wouldn't give me a job either at the Bud Clark Commons which would have helped my development in LIFE. Wow can't get housing or work! Why is that?
