From Drab to Fab - Transform your Yard with Garden Stories! James (the owner) and his crew did an amazing job with our backyard! We originally only had grass, a cherry tree in the corner and a very old rose bush that was starting to damage our fence. It was blank and had no shade at all. We knew we needed several trees. James delivered a wonderful backyard design we are happy with. We needed as much grass/yard for our greyhound to run. Always on time and professional. Our project was small (only a backyard), they worked so hard to make sure the space turned out great. (the last 2 images is the yard before Garden Stories) I highly recommend Garden Stories! Garden Stories recently completed the full redesign of our front yard and we couldnt be more happy with the final result! James is extremely knowledgeable and was very communicative throughout the process: from surveying our yard to providing sketches for collaborating on different ideas. His planting plan translated exactly to what we wanted: a sustainable design that took into account the style of our home and respectful of the PNW weather. Garden Stories did a superb job of revamping my very shady garden. The owner, James, began with precise measurements of my lot, including front and back yards. He listened carefully to my design objectives and promptly provided a detailed draft plan. After thoughtful communication regarding plant placement and selection, and suggested modifications to the hardscaping to improve the flow, he presented a beautiful design that met my needs exactly. He and his team commenced installation right on time - even a little early - and completed within the promised timeframe. He was careful to discuss and get approval for all required changes. Garden Stories was a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend them to anyone who wants the garden of their dreams designed and installed by talented and considerate professionals. I highly recommend James Wilson, Garden Stories. James transformed my garden and patio area into a magical space. There were a number of problems to solve with respect to water and elevation changes. James crafted great ideas and solutions. He was flexible and responsive. The project took a few twists and turns. Being able to problem solve with him and incorporate his ideas and suggestions of the subcontractors he hired resulted in a much better end result than I had envisioned. Everything was completed within time frames established. The subcontractors James works with are top notch. This project was extensive; involving moving a tree, moving a large shrub, all the patio replacement and grading, installation of irrigation, new cement stairs and lighting (so cool). James managed the project well. I would choose to work with James and Garden stores in the future.
