We went to go because it had good starts but the food was cold and the pina colada tasted like orange overall we wont come again and overpriced a lot

First a fact: Portland has all around mediocre Mexican food. Unfortunately, this place falls in that trend, though it's got a nice patio out front and the service is great. When these guys first opened it seemed like they had high prices when I looked at their menu online, but when I stopped in the prices actually looked pretty decent. I've been here twice, the first time ordering a taco plate, and the second for a burrito. The taco plate was decent, the rice and beans a little flavorless but okay. It was enough for me to try this place again. The burrito on the other hand just wasn't what I'd hoped for. I'm a native San Franciscan so I grew up on high quality burritos (e.g. El Farolito) and I've always been disappointed by the offerings in Portland. The rice needs to be a little more firm, the beans need to have a bit more tastiness (also, where's the whole beans), and the tortilla steamed and wrapped tightly. I might come back and try some more dishes if I'm nearby, but mainly because of the location, patio, service, and decent prices. I'm rooting for these guys as there's not a lot of other Mexican offerings in the area.
