        I have been there twice and staff have been unfriendly to my partner and I both times. During our last visit, there was only one other person in the store with two employee's. The employee's only said a couple words to me and wouldn't speak to my partner (who is a man of color...). I will not be going back due to this poor treatment. Bummed and hurt because the plants and prices look rad.

        I love this place. They have so many unique items. They have a great assortment of houseplants... rare and common. The prices are very reasonable.

      Hello, Joylynn! I’m Wren, one of the worker-owners of the cooperative. We’re deeply saddened to hear this was the experience you and your partner had at our shop. This is the exact opposite of our hope and intention for what our cooperative can be for the community. Many of us are also people of color, so we understand from personal experience how hurtful it is to experience racist micro-aggressions, like the ones often found in customer service. We take this very seriously and will be discussing it at our next shop worker meeting this month. We will work to improve our customer service to ensure everyone gets the help they’re looking for and feels comfortable at our store. Thank you for your honest feedback.
