One of the most brilliant practitioners I have ever had a session with.
I have had about 4 one-on-one Somatics sessions with Cheryl. She gently guided me to be able to sense a holding, a contraction in my body, that had been there from a long ago motorcycle accident. It had been there 30 years, a contraction that my brain had been perpetuating. She helped me create my own voluntary release of this involuntary stuckness. It was the biggest breakthrough, ultimately leading to a complete solution of my low shoulder, s-shaped scoliosis, shoulder pain and unbearable hip pain. Cheryl is right, we can't sense the places that are really stuck. The session was so brilliant and insightful. She knew exactly what to do. She guided my awareness to exactly where the problem was. A gentle repetition of contraction/relax helped me regain a part of myself I had lost. It really works. Cheryl, I feel so much gratitude. Thank you.
