Nothing around it but the rooms are very clean and the staff is very nice

My stay last December at this location left much to be desired. We were attending a friend's birthday party nearby and not wanting to make the long drive back to New York that same night, we opted to stay at this seemingly convenient hotel close to my friend's house and reserved about a month in advance. However, the experience quickly took a turn for the worse. Upon entering the room, I was immediately hit with a nauseating odor that permeated the entire space. It was an unpleasant and overpowering smell that made it difficult to enjoy my stay. While I considered requesting a room change, I had already unpacked my belongings and didn't want to inconvenience the staff. Upon checkout, I mentioned the issue to the housekeepers on the floor to later see them through the parking lot glass hastily spraying Lysol in an attempt to mask the odor but simply spraying air freshener is not going to solve the problem. As a member of the RediRewards Program, I expected a higher level of quality. Unfortunately, the unpleasant odor in the room greatly detracted from the overall experience. I hope that the hotel addresses this issue promptly to prevent future guests, from having a similarly unpleasant stay.

In spite of what I thought...the room was nice and cozy. Don't pass it by. They should tear down the old pool building. Kills the curb appeal. Great location right off I78 on Lehigh St Rooms: Room was much more than I expected. Bed was very comfortable.
