When we decided to move from Altoona to The Fields at Indian Creek in Emmaus, we lined up Traditional Mortgage to handle our financing needs. The building process took 15 months and Frank McGuckin, the branch manager, kept us well-informed as to when the mortgage application process should begin. About two months before our closing date, Jamie Vasko, Traditional's mortgage loan officer, began collecting required bank statements and the like. When I submitted documents in the evening, Jamie responded immediately so I realized she checked emails on her own time. Her professionalism and communication skills were impressive. She made the entire process easy and we gained final approval for our mortgage in a relatively short period of time. We have nothing but the highest praise for both Frank and Amy! I had the pleasure of working with Ms. Shana Kay during my initial home purchase. From the moment I started the process with Ms.Kay while I was deployed overseas, I knew she was the right one. Not only did she respect the time zone difference, but her turn around time with any mortgage question and multiple offers are spectacular. I love the fact that she provided the information I requested swiftly and efficiently. During the final phases of going through the underwriting process, some hiccups tempted me to pull out of my contract, and Ms. Shana Kay gave me a pep talk I will never forget. She took the time to remind me of the importance of owning a home and why I initially went through the process. In addition, she provided all her guidance around 9:30 to 10 pm! A fantastic trait to follow through and stick with her client till the end! A few days later, Ms. Kay followed up with me, and I was approved and signed the papers for the home purchase. That being said, she is a primary reason I own a home today, and I greatly appreciate the services she provides.
