Ardent Credit Union

Ardent CU is a Great bank that was thorough & efficient taking care of my most recent deposit.

I paid an additional $20 towards my principal balance on a car payment. I was told by this branch when paying any additional money towards a car loan it goes to principle. Then when I make a payment and have a question about how it was applied they tell me in Philadelphia it goes towards interest, any additional funds on top of my car payment. This credit union has a flawed system, I was told by Philadelphia headquarters that you have to make separate payments in order for it to go to principal. She had very poor phone etiquette simply treated me with disrespect and attitude. Fast forward three hours, called to speak with the supervisor. I spoke with a gentleman on the phone asking what the problem was he completely answered all my questions and told me that any additional money above and beyond my car payment would go to principal and explained it in very fine detail, not like the other individual. Ardent you need to get your act together and commend the last individual and fire the first one. Fast forward 10/19, its called previously the supervisor call to discuss this issue, still waiting

They may be a good credit union.. however if partnered with them by renofi they are a total waste of time and energy.

I've been a member of this credit union for 20 years and it's because the customer service is amazing!! You can call and talk to an actual person who really knows the answers to your questions. I moved out of the area but can use shared branches close to home for everything. Fraud problems? Nope! They contact you with any unusual activity right away. I had a mortgage through them and NEVER had a problem. The app allows remote check deposit and secure text messaging which are responded to right away. I recently went to the Blue Bell branch and Shane was such a pro for both of the big transactions I had that day. In person, over the phone, or by secure text on the app, their customer service is unmatched. If you want the best customer service, this should be your credit union!!!

This bank closed my account and stole my money.Melissa Delquadro blamed me for her bank's anti-customer policies and would not correct this issue.Do not trust this greedy company.Shame on Ardent Credit Union.
