Years ago, we wanted to widen our brick walkway and worked with Horizon on the design as my husband is an engineer and is very particular. The walkway turned out great. As time went by, loads of rain over the years running down our steep walkway began to erode the ground underneath the walk. I called Horizon and they sent Dan Hinkle over to lift the bricks and rework the walk. He came quickly and beautifully repaired the walk like new. We are very pleased as we will be putting our house on the market and the walk gives the house a great first impression! Thanks!

I talked to Mr president Lynn Lichtenwalner to order the mulch. He wasn’t very nice on the phone but I thought I support the local business and being patient with him. I agreed to pay whatever price he told me. The delivery supposed to be Thursday morning as agreement between him and I. On Wednesday night He called and left a message on my phone that he was not going to deliver the mulch because his supplier didn’t have it. I already arranged help for spreading the mulch and he knew all along that he didn’t have the triple ground cut that I ordered 3 days ago. I will let you decide how I feel if you put yourself on my shoes.

I have been to many local nurseries in my area, and Horizon is by far the best as far as pricing, delivery and customer satisfaction goes.  I've dealt with the owner Lyn, directly who is as cute as can be, a real honest man who is pleasant, knowledgeable and fair.  We bought over 8 trees and shrubs from him and he gave as the best pricing out of 4 other places we priced out.  He also replaced one of the trees after it died (through no fault of his) a few weeks after it was planted.  We decided to pick a replacement tree that actually cost more than the original tree that died and told him we would pay the difference. He delivered the tree the next day, mulched around it and didn't charge us anything at all! Check him out, you won't be sorry! He has a great selection of trees, shrubs, evergreens, mulch etc and will deliver to you promptly, with very reasonable delivery fees.  I'm happy I found this gem and plan to buy all of our trees from him in the future.
