        My experience was not good. I purchased a washer and dryer. When I got home I told my husband whom right away measured the door for delivery and I was so disappointed to find out I had to return to the store and choose something else or cancel the delivery due to the measurements of the appliances I chose. My experience then turned bad! I canceled 5 days prior to delivery. I can tell the salesman was not happy. He wanted to sell me something I did not want and was way more expensive. I paid mostly cash and rest on my credit card, when he canceled the order he said to me canceled your done I then had to ask him about my refund , he told me I would receive a email in a day or two from accounting with the information. I havent received a cancellation invoice or information on how Im getting my money back which has been 6 days now. He acted like I was bothering him when I asked for my money back after he canceled the order. I feel that should have been explained to me at some point before I was left standing there wondering.I will let my friends and family know my experience with this store and advise them to go elsewhere for appliances.

      In the early 1940's, while working for the Philco Corporation, Charles Gerhard developed and patented the ice cube tray. His passion for appliances grew, and in July of 1945, he started his own company in Glenside, Pa, now known as Gerhard's Appliance. As Gerhard's graciously moves into their 75th year of business, they continue to have eyes on the future and hearts firmly rooted in the core values of the previous generations. Locations in Glenside, Doylestown, Malvern, Ardmore and Northeast Philadelphia.
