Appointment time was 1:15 and didn’t see the doctor until 3:00. The medical assistant by the name of Tracy was extremely rude and obnoxious. When asked how long before I see the doctor she told me to just leave.

I had a wonderful experience at this practice. They were friendly, fast and accommodating. My medication that completely cleared my psoriasis on my body only came to me because my dermatologist fought for me with my insurance company. They really seem to care. I am very satisfied 😄

I’ve been dealing with psoriasis and my medication ran out I’ve been calling for about a month now trying to get My prescription refilled. It should not take several calls and nothing to happen for me to make this post. Is there any good dermatologist in Philadelphia who has time to care for their patients? My skin doesn’t feel like it belongs to me anymore.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I had a telehealth appointment with Dr. Brod on May 27th. Everything went well, and Dr. Brod was great. He set me up with some medicine and said we would schedule a 3 week follow up. Scheduling a 3 week follow up was worse than trying to herd wild cats. Staff members gave me the run around for over a week, and finally scheduled me for a follow up on June 30th at 9am. On June 30th I received a check in call at 7:45am. I logged onto the computer at 8:45am, and waited until 9:45am to call and inquire about the wait. I was told the doctor was running behind and would be with me shorty. Come 10:30am I call back and was told the doctor couldn't be reached. I waited until 11:30am and called it quits. No one called to inform me of what happened or even apologized. I called the office for weeks trying to get rescheduled to no avail. Spoke to multiple reps and was given the runaround each time. FINALLY I spoke to someone high up in the dermatology department and she told me that the issue was that since i reside in jersey, Dr. Brod could not be my provider as he is not licensed in jersey. I got another call saying they could schedule me with another provider, and they would call me back by today (7/14). I told them I would need to schedule it the week of July 27th, as I had already wasted 1/2 day from work (unpaid) for the June 30th appointment I got no showed on. I get a call today (7/14) stating that Dr. Brod could now do a telehealth visit with me, but he was only available this week or August 5th. Well, that doesn't work with my schedule and I'd think they'd be willing to accommodate me a little bit better since they really delayed my care and made a mess of this entire situation. I get it's a difficult time given COVID, but this was a true nightmare. Do yourself a favor and seek anyone other than Penn Dermatology.
