Alfreds Carpet Install LLC

Be very careful of this guy! Most of the positive reviews are over a year ago. From experience, he is definitely not someone I would ever do business with. He came over to give me a quote on a carpet install for 2 small bedrooms and about 9 stairs and he quoted me $1950 for basic industrial carpet. Then he attempted to leave a sample of carpets in my home but I declined as I could see this Was some type of tactic he uses( so I took a pic)...and I wasn't sure about the price. I was willing to go with him because of the good reviews about quality of work on google. However this "DH" tells me he's gonna schedule me for 2 weeks out but he needs a deposit of $1500 in order to put me on the schedule! I don't know what type of drugs he was doing that day, or who he owed money too, or what type of idiot he took me for, but it definitely wasn't happening! Then he proceeds to tell me Home Depot does the same thing! (THEY DONT)Who in their right mind would pay for 85-90% of the work before its completed???I'm not sure if he was trying to rob me of my $1500 but sure glad I have good common sense not to pit myself in that position. I would advise Anyone else to practice good common sense as well. Like I stated before, "most"of his good reviews are not current, Mostly over a year. Current reviews maybe from friends etc ..Currently he definitely does not have good business practices and I would advise everyone to be very careful dealing with this CLOWN !!

Alfred did an incredible job carpeting our basement. We appreciate Alfred and his hard work and would 10/10 recommend him for any of your carpet needs!

Came by to provide a quote. Wife was at work so he offered to leave the samples so she could see them in person. That was helpful. However, the rep never came back to get the large materials that was left. I threw them out 2 weeks later after he wouldnt come and get them. Also, I never got a quote until I reached out via IG. At that point we decided to go with someone else. Not a professional way to do business.

My first experience with Alfred was excellent! The carpet he installed in my bedroom is flawless. Alfred arrived on time and worked quickly and efficiently. I look forward to having him complete additional updates to my home in the near future!
