We first hired Joe Hudson and his team to refinish our floors in 2018 when we bought our first home, and they did an incredible job. When we bought our second home and peeled up laminate to discover hardwood floors, we knew there was only one person we trust to refinish them. Joe kept us updated throughout the process and answered all of our questions immediately. Hes personable and straightforward, and is an expert in his craft. If we ever move again, hell be our first call.

These guys are awesome! They turned 2K sf of hundred-year-old floors into a work of art. Blended repairs seamlessly, kept the mess to a minimum, were in and out within the promised timeframe. Great communication, very professional, stayed within estimate. Cant ask for a better process & result. Nobody gets 5 stars; Hudson Hardwood gets a 4.7.

When you engage Joe, you get top service from start to finish! We needed floor refinishing in a newly acquired apartment and Joe was responsive, professional, thorough, kind, and the final product is excellent. Our apartment was left in pristine condition. We are thrilled and recommend Joe with no reservations.

I really can't say enough good things about Joe, the quality of his work, and just how communicative he is. My husband and I wanted to refinish our hardwood floors on the ground level but needed a company that would help move our large furniture. We live in a modestly sized South Philly rowhome and don't have a garage where we can store things. From the jump, Joe impressed me. He assessed our situation and assured me he could handle the furniture. He talked through options for our floors. His knowledge and confidence sold me, not to mention he was just a nice guy. I had a gut feeling he would be great to work with, and so after he sent over the estimate, I signed on the dotted line. I have never worked with a more communicative contractor. I've undertaken home improvement projects before where I've had to actively manage the people we hired. What an absolute relief not to have to do that with Joe. While we were away while he and his crew worked, I knew I could count on daily updates, pictures, and videos. Joe does what he says he'll do, when he'll do it. On top of that, Joe found a way of magicking all of our furniture onto the second floor of our house, so that they didn't have to refinish the ground floor in phases, and effectively cut our schedule in half. We are back in our house today, with our gorgeous floors, on budget and in half the time. I will recommend Joe to ALL of my friends when they need their floors worked on. Truly an A+ craftsman and human.

I had an excellent experience working with Hudson Hardwood. I had the hardwood floors in one bedroom and hallway redone. I included before and after photos to highlight the transformation the bedroom underwent. The floors look gorgeous and they were able to seamlessly repair some damage the prior owners left behind. I highly recommend working with Hudson Hardwood!
