After training solo for a few marathons, I reached out to RYPB for help in achieving my goals. After 10 weeks together, Cory got me to a huge PR in Philly and closer to my goal of qualifying for Boston. I love having a personalized training plan from week to week. Cory always responds to my notes and checks in to see how I'm doing. His advice was spot on when it came to race day. It's been a great experience so far and I'm excited to continue working with him.

I dont have enough positive words to say about Cory and the whole team at Run Your Personal Best. My long term goal was to improve my first marathon time (4:18) Cory went above and beyond helping me achieve that (second marathon 3:22). Besides drastically improving my times, Cory believed in my goal and worked with me through my race nerves. He provides an organized workout schedule weekly aimed to help you achieve your dreams. Best decision was reaching out to Cory!!

After several years of the "same old, same old", I knew I needed a change with my training. I had big goals for my upcoming 40th birthday, one being to qualify for the Boston Marathon again. It's been 9 years since the last time I qualified for the Boston Marathon and I have been itching to do it at least one more time. The day I started working with Coach Cory from RYPB, I knew it was the right choice. It's been 6 months and I just recently ran a 12+ minute BQ at Philly which was 19 minutes faster than my previous Marathon in May (right before I started working with Coach Cory) and 31 minutes faster than the Marathon before that. Coach Cory set me up for success and week after week I really started to notice the difference. I was getting faster and more importantly, more confident in my training. I started to really believe in the training. Coach Cory has been attentive, flexible when needed, honest and supportive of my goals. He structured my workouts in a way that would work with my personal schedule while still getting me to where I need to be. I am so thankful for Coach Cory and Coach Brandon, whom I also worked with for a short period of time. Without their support, I wouldn't have the knowledge or the confidence to step outside of my comfort zone and succeed. I would highly recommend RYPB to anyone considering hiring a running coach. You won't regret it!

I could not be happier about the results that I have seen working with Cory. Within 18 weeks I was able to drop my marathon PR by 33 minutes and achieve a Boston qualifying time. I feel very fortunate to have found Cory and look forward to continuing working with him and setting more goals. Highly recommend!

Working with Cory is a no brainer for anyone 1.looking to get faster, or 2. anyone who may not have a ton of experience with different styles of running workouts and is looking for some training structure, or 3. both. I worked with Cory for 14 weeks leading up to the Philly Marathon. While I have ran many races, this was the first time I had someone help create a structured training plan based on a specific goal.. a BQ. Workouts were adjusted 1-2 weeks in advance based on the progress I was making. I don't have any type of track background and have always found speed and track workouts to be intimidating, but he made them approachable and helped me understand the logic behind what training with different intervals and paces was meant to do. They quickly became and now are my favorite workouts. Aside from having a ton of fun following the plan and chatting back and forth after workouts, I just ran the Philly Marathon after our 14 week program and I ran a sub 3 hour marathon, beat my previous PR by 43+ minutes and went 10+ minutes under my BQ time. Was pumped!
