Where do we start. Tim is an outstanding example of an honest and professional Realtor. But more importantly he is compassionate, patient, caring and a very well raised human being with old school manners, honesty, values and character. Tim was honest with us about everything and didn't tell us the sky was Green when we knew it was Blue. Tim tells it like it is with no sugarcoating. Tim puts his client's needs and wellbeing first which we had not seen before with Realtor's. This was a difficult move for me and my wife after living in our home for almost 40 years. Tim was a pillar of strength and went well over and behind in helping us make this move more seamless and less stress free into our new home in assisted living. Tim literally set up, handled and took care of everything in terms of getting our home prepared for the market to be sold. He helped us coordinate moving and all the details involved with that. He even noticed we were being overcharged for our homeowner's insurance and literally called his insurance agent and took care of getting us a new homeowners insurance policy that saved us thousands of dollars. He even rescued heirloom family photos that were going to be tossed out by the movers we chose. Tim advised us that if we prepared our home for today's discerning buyer that it would help increase our home value before it was even listed. Then when it was listed it would increase our asking price and buyer demand. So much so that Tim sold our home for several hundred thousand dollars more than we were told by other Realtors before we found Tim. Tim was like hitting the lottery for realtors! I found Tim's bio online and saw numerous accolades of which I thought he might be too successful to want to work with a first time home buyer. I figured I would reach out, see if I liked his personality, and if he would take us on as a client. Contradicting my initial thoughts, he was down to earth, portrayed no judgements, and was genuinely excited to find us our home. He set us up with a portal page and the search began. We saw a few private showings of which we did not like. He never pressured us into bidding on a house or sugar coated facts so they would be more appealing. He was honest and upfront about the current insane market, constantly explained all the steps and details, and was very responsive. Quicker than expected we found a house that we could envision calling home. He also offered his expertise with potential home improvements. Tim was excellent during the bidding process. He helped get us set up with a mortgage, pre-approved, with all the numbers ran before making an offer. He guided us through structuring an offer that would be appealing to the sellers over other offers. We were able to walk through and put in an offer the day the house went up for sale before the weekend open house. We followed all of Tim's advice which led the first offer we wrote on a home to be accepted which was absolutely crazy for this housing market.
