I recently had the unfortunate experience of visiting Pepboys Carshop for my car's yearly inspection and safety check. To put it bluntly, my encounter with this establishment was nothing short of a complete disaster. I strongly advise anyone considering their services to steer clear and seek alternatives.
First and foremost, the most frustrating aspect of my ordeal was the extensive waiting time. I dropped off my car in the morning, anticipating a reasonable duration for the inspection to be completed. Little did I know that it would turn into a never-ending nightmare. Five hours had passed, and with growing impatience, I decided to call and inquire about the status of my vehicle.
The response I received over the phone was not only unhelpful but also downright shocking. I was informed that my car was ready for pick up. However, upon arriving at the shop, I discovered that my vehicle hadn't moved an inch from where I had parked it earlier. The blatant disregard for my time and the lack of progress on the inspection were utterly inexcusable.
The level of incompetence and disorganization displayed by Pepboys Carshop is unparalleled. Not only did they fail to complete the requested inspection in a timely manner, but they also failed to communicate any delays or issues that arose during the process. Their inability to meet even the most basic expectations of a car service establishment is truly disappointing.
Given my horrendous experience, I cannot, in good conscience, recommend Pepboys Carshop to anyone. Their inability to deliver on their promises and their complete disregard for customer satisfaction is simply unacceptable. I implore prospective customers to explore alternative options for their automotive needs, as this establishment falls far short of the mark.
Save yourself the frustration, time, and disappointment by avoiding Pepboys Carshop altogether. Your vehicle and your peace of mind deserve better treatment than what this establishment offers.

I scheduled with Pepboys for my tire to be replaced since it had bald tread. I shopped around online at other tire replacement shops and thought I had found the best deal for tire along with installation fees at PepBoys. I choose my tire online at Pepboys location that said it was in stock after finding best deal there for approximately $117. I needed my tire change ASAP to prevent blow out so I went there and was told after being checked in they do not always have updated stock online so I may be told about a different tire and price. I ended up having to get a different time which was way higher at $293 total cost for they informed me it was the only one in stock for my car. Only reason I ended up going along with price was due to need to have tire replaced asap from bald tread and highway driving I do 5 days a week. I can say I will not be using Pepboys again for services since they do not update stock and did not even bother to give me discount for the incorrect information online etc.
