I am not one to complain but I want to spare someone the time. Absolutely worthless customer service, after spending an hour and half at the desk, 2 trips to get the right vehicle. We are still not in the SUV that we rented. Customer service manager was rude.

A complete fiasco at TF Green airport (RI) Dollar rental this afternoon. Counter closed and all customers were directed to go the Hertz Gold desk in the garage. Line was at least 40 people long and wait time was clearly going to be at least an hour or more. Many people left; I canceled my reservation and went with another rental company. No one came out to explain what the problem was. Worst rental experience in 25+ years renting cars.

*UPDATE* the response from the business below is horrible. No urgency to help resolve my over charge. So I called corporate. And they immediately issued a refund for my fuel charge. (Thank you to that lady!) This just shows that they are literally stealing from customers, and hoping they either done notice, or give up. Tried to make a quick $25 off me not okay! DO NOT RENT FROM THEM!!!!! First, they gave me a car with 10 miles of fuel left, tire light and check engine light on. Had to undue all 3 of my kids car seats and transfer 3 suitcases to do a switch, added an hour to my timeline. Then the WORST part. I made SURE to fill the car up before I dropped it off because I witnessed first hand how sucky it is to get a car completely empty. Filled up across the street, drove straight to airport. They STILL charged me $10 a gallon for 2 gallons of gas because it was 90% full instead of 100%. How am I suppose to know the freaking percentage? I filled it up until the pump clocked. Absolute trash company. Idc if you have to pay $50 more to rent somewhere else do it. Trust me.
