Ive done many closings, this was my fourth closing just this year, and this was by far the worst closing experience I have ever gone through to sell my property. They delayed my closing for 30 days because I didnt have one document (a tax form) from the city, and even at closing they STILL didnt have it, but closed anyway, so, as I was telling them all along, the document was not needed for closing. The night before closing they wanted me to sign a document stating I would continue to care for a few violations on the property, which I quickly denied! Im selling the house (that was partly why), and why would I continue to care for the house when I dont own it any longer!? Up until the moment I actually sat down to close, I wasnt sure we were actually going to close, so it was a very stressful situation. The worst was the actual closing. They made so many mistakes on the HUD (and not in my favor), I had to ask his to correct the calculations FIVE times before it all looked correct. Be very careful, and take your time to do all of the calculations, because they clearly dont. The worst part was they deducted from my proceeds a $5,000 deposit that they collected (but, did not actually give to me), so the HUD appeared that I would make $5,000 less proceeds. I asked for the $5,000, and they said they could not release it until after the closing documents went on record (ok, thats fine), but then I asked for a written document stating that they would send me the $5,000 after closing because otherwise I had no proof that they had my $5,000 or that they owed me any money. The lawyer got visibly upset at this request, and said very creepily what, you dont trust me? Anyone who has to ask that question should definitely not be trusted. I would not recommend this law firm to anyone I know, but if you must use them make sure to very carefully read all of the calculations on your HUD.

I reached out to a friends brother who recently started working at Indeglia & Associates regarding reviewing a purchase and sale agreement of a business. I had actually already had representation from another attorney but, he had "ghosted me", so I had questions regarding terminating that attorney.
