I am a 3rd generation in jewelry manufacturing / retail business myself 34 years 4 locations. I do not easily trust refiners that comes from 3 generation of experience, but I was considering Pease & Curren to do business . Because of the good reputation I read in some articles, after reading Google reviews I realized that was in the pass. Some of the reviews they have been doing business for a long time and they were satisfied all of the sudden they are not satisfied, something changed in the company. I have a large amount of polishing powder mostly 14k 18k. at the beginning I was excited that I found a good company that I can engage. I believe there are good people, honest refiners out there I just must find no rush. From the SAME MIX bunch maybe, it is a good idea to send to 3 different refining companies so compere. With this review I am not trying to knock them down I am hopping they change.

Please DO NOT use their service. We should have read all the other reviews prior to doing business with them and we would have saved our hard earned money. Our company sent in a stone removal lot. When we received the check it was over $2000 short. I called and spoke to Debbie who was wonderful and let her know the issue. She said Frank the owner would get back to me. 1 week later and no response back so i called again and Debbie said that she was going to call today and that there was no change in the payout. You would think the owner would have called same or next day if there was an issue. We have been in the gold business for 20 years and know our numbers very closely and were shorted over $2000. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!

Just sent 440+ ozt sterling, 90% coin silver via Evan to Pease & Curren. Evan called personally to say they had received it. Lets see if they get to keep their 5 star rating from me? I am hopeful. They seem like a trustworthy company from the start. Let's hope my gut is correct. EDIT: They keep the 5 stars! Amounts came back as expected. The amount of the check was within the expected range. Customer service was exceptional! A++ overall.
