We were very happy with the service provided by Jules team for our recent mortgage. He beat the 2 other bank rates we had been offered and made the application process very easy. He was extremely knowledgeable but not intimidating, responsive, and easy to talk to. We closed on time without any issues. Id definitely use South State again in the future.

Jules really is the best! I purchased a rental property at the end of 2021. He made the process so easy. He is knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. More than a year after I closed on that property, he was still available to assist. I recently needed a document from that transaction which I could not readily locate in my personal files. Jules emailed me a copy of the needed document almost immediately after we spoke on the phone. I have recommended Jules to many colleagues. I found Jules Deas at SouthState Bank in a time of extreme uncertainty in the mortgage market. My wife and I had been preparing to purchase our first home together for a few years. We became fearful that purchasing our dream home would become unattainable as we watched housing prices increase along with interest rates. Jules was patient and took the time to answer all of our questions and address our concerns. He discussed multiple loan options for us to consider and really put our minds at ease. He was always available throughout the entire process and gave us the best customer service we could hope for. With Jules' help, we closed on our dream home in February 2023.
