This Apartment is careless and doesnt care for the safety, respect, or security of their residents. SAVE YOURSELF AND YOUR FAMILY THE TIME. Break in after Break In, Domestic Violence Incidents, The Cops Are Here Every Week. Dont believe me call RCSO & Columbia Police for the Update. We have only been here for 2.5 months. Cops direct words, This place is known for reporting of break ins, and the only cameras Companion At Palms Have is for the Entrance of the complex. Went to report the incident to the office and they said verbatim We dont have security cameras over the property. Maybe we can ASK them for next year. Its not in our budget. Funny bc if you look online they said they have security for this complex and paying $1200 or more a month with lack of security definitely sounds like a scam. Not to mention we stated a community meeting to discuss getting security cameras, could be had to resolve the issue & they stated verbatim You dont have anything to do with that. Sounds very suspicious. Save Your Time & Look Somewhere else. Not to mention at least 3 days out of the week, look for the dumpster to be down & overloaded with trash flying everywhere. Who waits a year to make sure their residents are safe and secure? Companion At Palms Workers, Companion at Palms Management, Stakeholders, et al.

Was touring another apartment in area and decided to drop in and see if I could get information about this community as well. I walked in, was hollered at from an office to come that way and then when I explained that I "was hoping to learn more about the community and tour the complex" I was told "do you know the unit you want to apply for? Go online and apply then come back." That was it. That's all they had to say. I'm not going to apply for a complex I've not toured. Never stood up and greeted me, never welcomed me, offered no information, was just told to apply. If they can't be bothered to try to sell the apartment units, I can't imagine how unhelpful they'd be servicing residents.

This is my 2nd year staying at Companion at The Palms. I really appreciate all staff. Management constantly reaches out on any issues and keeps us as a community in the known. Maintenance is awesome, they come out immediately to fix any apartment issues and that is greatly appreciated. Thank you all at Companion at the Palms for looking out for your community and I would definitely recommend anyone to stay in this community.
