Alpha Nails have some of the best staff! Steven has been doing my nails since they opened and I have never been disappointed. And Mrs. Mary gives you the BEST pedicure ever! I highly recommend this place!

If youre looking for something quick & dont care about quality or customer service, this is the place for you. If not, I wouldnt recommend going here; ESPECIALLY during busy times of the day or any time to close to a holiday. They will be even more frantic & rush your service leaving you with their mistakes. I have gone to this salon for years. Over time I made adjustments like clipping & filing my own toenails prior to going because they could never get it right & would always change the shape which I hated. On 4/8 this was my second visit in 9 days (my initial visit was 3/29). On 3/29 I came in with examples of how I wanted my nails. The design was fairly simple which consisted of triangle French tips on 4 nails & the other 6 nails painted solid with some glitter accents. My color of choice was BLACK. For some reason the man doing my nails chose a color that was NOT black. It appeared black inside but in brighter lighting & as soon as I went outside, it was very visibly blue & not black. He also did not understand clearly what I wanted for my nails even though I had an example & began to get frustrated/impatient with me, so adjustments were made & by the time it was finished, I ended up with nails that I hated. Fast forward some days later & 3 of my nails had already chipped, one of them chipping in 2 places as well as lifting on the side. The side that was lifting snagged on a piece of fabric & broke off. On 4/8 I came back in for a filling (since my nails would be thin by the time they used the drill again), a repair on the broken nail, & to find out what color they used on my toes so that my nails could at least match my toes since it was not black like I had asked for. They couldnt find the color THEY used & had no idea what it was so my nails & toes are yet again two different colors. The man who did my nails this time also asked did I want them cut down. I specifically said NO because I keep them short & had just gotten them done 9 days ago so it wasnt time for a cut down. As he was drilling the acrylic from the top of my nails, he then flipped the drill onto the tips of my nails & cut them down anyway even though I explicitly said no. I realized what was happening & asked was he cutting them down, he said yes, & I reiterated that I had told him not to cut them. He then used the excuse that to make my nails square (which was the shape I already had) he needed to drill, which is a lie because he could have used a file. On top of that, while using the drill to cut down my left thumb nail (again, a cut down I didnt ask for or want), the drill skipped & took a chunk out of the top of the acrylic. He paused & looked up to see if I saw what happened, which I did, & he just continued. He didnt add acrylic to fix his mistake, he just drilled & buffed over it to diminish it, but theres in fact still a dent in my nail. Not to mention he hit my hand/skin with the drill as well. If Im spending my hard earned money & tipping on top of that for a total of almost $200, I should be getting what I ask for, I should be happy with my nails when I leave, & my experience should be a good one. This was my last straw with not getting what I ask for, noticing errors that may seem small but are very much noticeable & that I have to live with until time to get my nails done again, & noticing the corners that are cut to rush people in & out just to make a profit. I have found a new nail technician that Ill be giving a try & I wont be returning to this salon again.
