        Don't abide by state or federal laws, incompetent and extremely rude staff. DO NOT USE unless you want fines and lawsuits. Horrible service and unlawful.

        On multiple years (2017, 2019), my taxes were not filed by the proper due date, despite repeat confirmation from Desmet and Biggs that they would be. In the instance of my 2017 taxes, I did not find out that they had missed the deadline until informed by the IRS years later. In addition, I missed multiple opportunities to contribute to my retirement funds because of Keith Chaffin's knowledge gap about contribution deadlines. Both of these errors have cost me tens thousands of dollars in tax penalties and loss of retirement savings. Desmet and Biggs accountants, specifically Megan Kinder and Keith Chaffin, did nothing to remedy this. I have since switched accountants to someone who is more honest, reliable, and knowledgable than the accountants at Desmet and Biggs.
