Initially working with PCB was a good experience. However, after having my mortgage with them for 2 years, I received an email from a random company that said PCB sold my loan to them and nothing else was needed. Tried calling Plains to confirm it wasn't a scam and never heard back. Checked my email and mail and had no notice from Plains Commerce that my loan was sold, only a random 800 number asking for my social and bank information. Pretty frustrating from a consumer standpoint to have your mortgage sold to another entity without a notice from your bank and having to setup an entire new account for something you thought was already taken care of.

I'm not sure when Plains Commerce Bank decided to become a dishonest bank but strongly reconsider doing business here because they cannot keep their word! After the storm in May, my house was damaged and I received a check from the insurance company that both myself and the bank must sign. I was told they would overnight it back to me, it's been almost 3 weeks and it's still not back with no reasonable excuse. Just lies! I'm done doing business with these dishonest people! UPDATE... My business with Plains Commerce is forever done! When we refinanced our loan with them, I wanted my loan to stay in Sioux Falls and never be sold. The agreement made with Jeremy Huber and his boss was that if we would transfer all our banking to their bank, our mortgage wouldn't be sold or move out of Sioux Falls. We were just notified by mail that our mortgage has been sold and now we have to wait until AFTER our payment is due to set up auto bill pay . This bank will lie and deceive you into doing business with them. They are NOT an honest bank and they WILL use you until they no longer need you then throw you to the curb! There are plenty of other banks to do business with and if you read the reviews left by others, you'll see the same thing repeatedly, dishonest, lie to you, deceive you and other negative things about this corrupt lending institution.
