        I just brought in a bag of some old stuff such as old clothes, intact board games and some other items, I had a feeling they would not take the clothes, but there was nothing wrong with the games but they cant take it because of the odor and dust which there is no dust or bad odor on anything. I cleaned all of the items off with a disinfectant wipe before packing it up and bringing it in. Ive seen Once Upon a Child buy WAY grosser items then what I brought in today. Honestly seemed like they didnt even look at my buy.

        They need a sign that says they are bagless. Im not from the area so to have a mountain of stuff I bought just set on the counter and they stare at you without saying anything. Ask for a bag they dont say anything.

        I love shopping at Once Upon a Child! Get clothes or toys for a fraction of the cost! We don't mind second hand clothes as kids grow way too fast. You can get them way cheaper here & turn back around & sell them back once they have out grown them. You can also buy toys & books here. Everything that I have ever bought was in great shape & some looked brand new! Thank you for having this option in town!

      Hi Bianca! Thank you for reaching out. We do require that everything has been freshly laundered before coming in as we find that items that have been stored can have a musty storage odor. If the clothing you brought in was older and stored it may been those items that had the odor that our associate detected. You may certainly bring the games back in in a separate container for us to check over for you.

      Alexus, thanks for letting us know! We did have a sign up but when we cleaned the front windows last it must have gotten taken down and not replaced. We did get that back up! Generally our staff will also let our customers know that we are bagless and we do have reusable bags for purchase but it sounds like we missed the mark on that this time so I apologize for that. We will be sure to review this with our employees again. We appreciate you shopping with us!
