        Walked in on July 31 at 15:10 and as the agent was otherwise occupied I left all my details for an auto quote with the secretary. Still to date (August 31) they have yet to contact me with a quote or even a follow up. Very unprofessional. Went to another Farmers agent in Sioux Falls in the meantime, received a quote within minutes after contacting them, and now have a policy with Farmers through the other agent. Dont bother with this agency. They are literally useless.

        On the last Friday of the year and late in the afternoon, Dean furnished me with a very reasonable renter's insurance policy. He was very thorough and efficient. We also enjoyed a quite friendly conversation!

      I am glad that you were able to get your insurance needs met. It is unfortunate that you had this experience and I apologize. Did this happen on Friday August 18 - your post is on Saturday and we are not open that day? That was the day of my son's wedding and I and most of my staff were not available as we were out for the day. If I knew when you came in and who you talked to it would be most helpful.
