GOOD SAMARITAN THRIFT STORE

DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR MONEY!!! I just visited this store for the first time with my fianc, who had been in there before, and although it is very very small, there is a LOT to look at. So being my first time there, I walked around a few times (the place is literally arranged so you walk a circle), just browsing, when the scuzzy looking attendant came over to us and announced they were about to closemy fianc was looking at a sound bar and told him he wanted to buy it. Again the worker said they were about to close.my fianc asked if he could purchase the sound bar and another item. Maybe it was because my fianc is black Or maybe we just walked around the store one too many times looking at one too many things because they turned away our money and said again that they were about to close, that we had been there for over an hour, and that if we didnt leave he would call the police. (Btw we were there for about 20 minutes) My fianc just did not understand why he couldnt purchase the items he was interested in So I explained it to him loud enough for the employee and the store owner to hear: they think were casing the joint babe they think were about to steal from them And walked out the door disgusted And now thanks to them I have a new mission To tell everyone I know never to go to that store and never to spend their money there Good Samaritan Thrift store, 227 S Prairie Ave, Sioux Falls, SD 57104, and according to google, they dont close til 8:30.3 1/2 hours from now! I really regret having to give them one star. If I had a choice, I wouldve left them -5 stars!! Im all about supporting local businesses, but these guys arent localthey just do business out of a local building *visit was on March 15, 2024 and review was mistakenly left for Sisters LLC, which I just caught and will correct**

This place was my favorite thrift store changing my review from 5 stars to 1. Went in this week, whole place smelled like a cigarette, the man working didnt even look at me when I walked in and said hi. Looked around and they had sweatshirts $10.50, blow up air mattress for $30. Was also not acknowledged leaving the store.

Seemed a little sketchy. Made a purchase. Item was slightly damaged and asked for a discount. Then was told I had to pay cash. No where does it say cash only. Also I could see the credit card machine. While checking out the cashier talked on the phone the entire time. I won't return.
