O'Charley's Restaurant & Bar

My review is based exclusively on the unsafe conditions in the restaurant- not at all on the food or waitstaff. I brought my mother here for a late lunch. There wasn't anyone up front to seat us, so we decided to go to the restroom first. While walking to the restrooms, my mother slipped slightly on the tile floor. The floor was coated with some sort of sticky residue that coated the bottom of our shoes- I wasn't sure my elderly mother was going to be able to make it out of the restroom. One of the waitstaff was in there and commented that the floors were a consistent problem, but they were "really bad" that day. Mom took my arm to leave, but by that point my shoes were also sliding. Up front, we tried to wipe our shoes on the carpets, but soon realized they were full of soap residue as well. The floors at this restaurant are dangerous! My mother slipped several times but we were fortunately able to leave without falling. How disappointing- we were looking forward to lunch at O'Charleys, but not at the risk of injury.

Good food. However it would great if your staff is mindful of others when they are cleaning tables. While she spray the table with the cleaning agent some of it landed in my food. I hope she can be more mindful and spray in on to cloth and then wipe it.

This was our 1st time in and we had a really good experience. The service was good, the manager came by to check in, and our food was really good. We were informed that they are starting trivia on Thursdays so we will be back!
