Days Inn by Wyndham Knoxville East

The service was good, the room was ok. Needs some TLC. The AC was very loud, but worked. We were happy to have it. Every time my husband got out of bed, it sounded as if the baseboards were being hit. There was a barrel in the parking spot right outside of the door, so it made it hard to get in and out. Rooms: Just need to be updated with some new pain and bathroom fixtures. Ac could be quieter.

Location is about the only thing good with this hotel, in that it's right by the interstate, so makes for an easy pit stop. We got there at 2:30 a.m. and it took forever to get checked in, and of course we were the only ones doing so at that hour. We were so exhausted we just passed out. In the morning, saw that the floors were dirty and clearly had not been cleaned. Next, I had the pleasure of squishing a roach in the bathroom. Not a water bug, (which is also a roach in my opinion), but the kind you see when a place is dirty. We got out of there as quick as scattering roaches in the light! Highly NOT recommended! Rooms: Dirty and comes with a complimentary cockroach!

This hotel was skeeeeeetchy! A great place if youre a creep. When we arrived we felt very out of place. We arrived very late (2am). I called ahead to let them know we were coming late. When we arrived they seemed surprised I was there. If the room didnt look as nice as it did (and it did look decent), we would have left immediately. Lots of odd characters wandering around the grounds, staff included. The housekeeping staff was nice enough. The bed was clean and comfy. The pillows were lumpy and/or flat. The bug on the wall that was painted over was indicative of our stay. Would actively against staying here if you have kids. Brave adults only. Safety: Classic dumpy hotel. Its not a bad area of town but it sure felt like it. A lot of people just randomly hanging out in suspicious ways. We felt very uncomfortable. If the room wasnt halfway decent we would have immediately left. Stay in your room, chain the door shut, and you can pretend youre somewhere nicer.

The only thing this place has going for it is that the rooms are clean and comfortable. The rest of the hotel is run-down, shady and smells weird. Guest service at check-in was extremely slow and awkward. There were also a lot of strange people just hanging around on the property sitting in cars or partying. Felt unsafe at times.

You could hear the highway very loud like the window was open place could use some love and care ran down and needed some employees who cares but the room was clean Walkability: Waffle house across the street and a gas station
