        Family owned which is always a plus with me. I've been here several times and had mixed reviews. The service is always good but at times it can be a bit slow. All of the food is seasoned with a spice, that for me personally is hit or miss depending on what you're eating. I definitely prefer the entrees over any of the sides. The smothered pork chops are my go to meal.

        Ive been meaning to check this place out for years, and I finally made it in today. I got the pleasure to meet Mr. Damien and he hooked me up since it was my first time. I ordered the seafood etouffee with mac and cheese and Mr. Damien threw in cabbage, a fried catfish, and hushpuppies. Everything was SO good, the mac and cheese is one of the best Ive ever had. I will be coming back soon!
