Very poor communication with management and lack of security is a large issue. A main door from the parking garage to the building (that is supposed to only open with a key fob) has been broken for 10 months. Ive submitted multiple service requests, emailed the office, called management etc. over 10 times. We keep getting the answer that they are working on it and will keep us updated, however both statements are untrue. Its a large concern for many tenants as Crime in Austin is an issue and there are regularly people breaking into cars in the parking garage. Its not Amlis fault that people are breaking into the parking garage (that is a bit unavoidable) but it is their fault that they have allowed those criminals east access into the building. I know myself and other tenants Ive talked to will not be resigning because of issues like this.

-Key fobs often dont work but kicking the door gets you in. -Hallways are confusing and are muggy and humid. -The floor boards are all lifting and it smells like trash because trash valet hasnt come in days. -Mail box has been broken the whole time ivve lived there. -Muggy, dark apartment -Found mold spewing out from all the vents. Then management ignored my emails/calls for 8 days when requesting mold removal.

Don't do it & just keep looking.. The washer/dryers are trash and ruin my clothes. The facility itself is constantly in flux with mediocre repairs. Super loud by the highway. Have seen homeless people wondering the halls. They will get you with hidden fees/charges throughout the lease - They did remove the fees once I followed-up a couple of times but it occurred 3+ times... I transferred apartments before I figured this out.. huge regret. First time ever submitting a review but hoping to save someone else the headache.

Im coming at this with my clean-freak bias be warned. For the amount that Im paying, I figured that at move-in the apartment would be ready for me. Clean is a basic, attainable standard for any apt building, nice or not, so I was shocked to find some aspects of my unit looking like this on move-in (photos attached). My biggest qualm is the fact that they even gave me the keys; this has obviously been in this condition for a whileeeee, I dont understand how my complaint could come as a surprise. Side note; finishings are nice but were obviously done in a rush. Lots of weird little things are off; crooked handles/shelves and chipped/messy paint. All the grout work everywhere is sloppy. One of my cabinet doors isnt even the right size lol, but this all wouldve been ok if the unit were at least clean. EDIT: In the first month I have also had to submit work orders for; Sugar ant problems (twice! never experienced this in old places, the building charges a fee for pest control, and I haven't noticed a difference from the pest worker coming), leak under the sink, light switch not working, and the garbage disposal not working. The water is also extremely hard here. EDIT EDIT: Yall, don't sign here. Straight up. I dont have the time, patience, or space here to get into my thesis for all the other reasons this place sucks.
