    TLDR: I had to call the police to get their shakedown collector to leave my house. These guys use intimidation tactics to get invoices paid. When a family emergency set us back a week, they sent a large guy to the house who, despite the fact that one child was throwing up and I was on the phone scheduling their medical appointment and I was in my bathrobe, refused to leave until they had the invoice paid. I told them to leave and we'd get the invoice paid, and his response is that he would still be waiting at my house. It was intimidating as heck and a little scary and far more than I could handle with a spouse recovering from surgery and a throwing up kid. They also claimed the invoice had been three weeks late, although five days previous they were still troubleshooting their work and telling us not to worry about payment until it was resolved. So this guy - who would not allow me to answer the question about when the invoice would be paid (literally as soon as I could settle all the sick people in my house down long enough to get to a computer) talked over me and yelled and didn't allow me to answer him. I tried calling to explain later, and he did the same thing. People, I had to call the POLICE to get him to leave my porch. They then filed a police report against me for "theft of services". Over a one-week-old invoice. Which was overpriced. I'm so disappointed. The initial service technician was very sweet, although they talked me into something now I'm not sure I needed, given the collection tactics.

I was informed today by my office while I was out on the field that you called APD on one of my employees. I instructed my employee to go by your property this morning in an attempt to speak with you and collect a payment. I instructed him to do this since you have failed to pay your invoice and have not returned any of the many phone calls, we have made to you with a voicemail left and have sent you several reminders regarding the invoice. Due to the non-communication our office did inform you that we would start a lien process on 3-8-24 for nonpayment on the work we did on 2-20-24. So as a courtesy we sent an employee today to help remind you or at least speak to you in person so that we would not have to commence with the lien process, instead of talking to my employee you called the cops on him. Please keep in mind that when you had an issue with the new PRV we installed, I came out and added new fill valves and we did not add that to the total due, I did that as a gesture of good faith, which you failed to return by leaving our invoice unpaid. I do apologize about your unfortunate experience with us. Please bear in mind we were just trying to resolve a nonpayment issue for a job we did on 2-19-24. It is unfortunate tha we had to file a theft of service just to collect payment. Once again we do apologize about your circumstances, but we also did need to do our due diligence, to receive payment for services we provided.
