This national location lacks an Emerald aisle, because it is smaller. But it makes up for it with a great selection, efficient service and a short walk from the terminal.

While I cannot disclose the company that I am with for privacy reasons, we have been renting from National Rental Car for almost 2-years now non-stop. My job has me visiting our stores throughout Texas (into other states as well). I have also rented from National in Denver, Dallas, Oklahoma City, Houston, so on and so forth. And I have never, ever incurred issues like I consistently do at the one here in Corpus Christi, TX. At one point it got so bad I actually called their Corporate Office and they said their GM for this area would get back to me, needless to say he never contacted me. Rather it has been issues in the past with billing, car selection, all of which I have had. Nothing quite compares to the absolute terrible Customer Service I consistently get from this location. Rudeness, borderline argumentative, complete lack of knowledge in regard to availability, almost giving away the vehicle you've reserved as you're on your way to pick it up. Basically you name the scenario and I can say I've experienced it. I am giving National 2 Stars because they actually have 2 Stars working there. Shawn & Danielle. Both of these individuals have grown accustomed to knowing me and my general preferences as they see me on a relatively regular basis. Shawn and Danielle are without a doubt the shining stars of this particular location. So I hope that when National (Corporate) sees this review they give these two high praise for what they do. While some individuals may have a good experience at this location, I am quite positive they do not do as much business with them as we do. But in my personal experience, this is without a doubt the most troubling of locations National has in Texas. If you decide to rent a car from them, I definitely hope you get an amazing experience! I will be there again on Tuesday (10.02.18) morning with the hope that I do not have one of the same experiences as mentioned above.
