Villas at Cantamar Apartments

The truth is that the apartments are very spacious, but they are too hot!!! The AC has not been turned on, they control the temperatures and the heat is very unbearable at times, my children are always complaining about the heat, there are small cockroaches that they have not been able to finish the older lady in front is very rude when answering questions, she is always on very bad way, I recommend you look for another place to rent if you don't want to have a bad experience in these apartments.

I have been here for almost a year. And they are really good at what they do. And my apartment is the best apartment and 57 years. Come check them out.

After talking with the office and getting clarification on the internet here. Id say they deserve this 5 star review. Front office is very helpful and transparent with information when needed, the unit lay outs are very nice and seem perfect for what we needed, and the two pools will be very nice for the summer. Access to a the Korner Store right out front is perfect for late night snack runs and the presence of an elementary school has an increase in police presence keeping the area safe. Initially gave a lower rating due to connectivity issues and concerns but with the knowledge that Spectrum is on the way they have shot up tremendously and I and my room mate are very excited staying here.

Im in my third trimester of pregnancy and weve had 80-90 degree weather, AC is still not on. I have been throwing up and passing out just about everyday and We are blessed to have insurance, am scared for loosing my child. They sent a text saying they are monitoring the weather closely and might turn on the AC sooner- but that we signed a contract saying that they dont have to until a specific time. I guess la lady in the front isnt just a so-called temp worker here but also the weather woman. Or captain obvious with the temperature being so hot out, how do you think the inside feels, granted a second story home with only heat and heat rising? Especially when the water is cut off dang near everyday due to so-called leaks. Ive had to recently take my dog to the emergency veterinarian hospital due to complications from the heat. Watch out for your animals as well as for your children because theyre always glass, fleas, nails, and other dangerous items to find within the community and parking lots. Despite the roaches that have been our roommates for a few months now, the heat, vandalism, glass everywhere in the playground, and our tires being flat for the 4th time already living here in nail-central parking, La ladies in the front are quite the professionals- a rhetorical statement. Temp chick working the front introduced my fianc and I as trouble infront of a family whom was applying here the other day, maybe because when a random man walks in your apartment while youre bathing yourself and your children- and asked the front if that was maintenance employee or not? (no courtesy calls yall. Astonishing. Watch your children its not like there aren't offenders here?) and they had no idea who it was for the longest time didnt take me serious until I reminded them that this is Texas. They happen to always state that we signed a contract, and to where they have no obligation to let us know before hand of maintenance or anyone coming. Youd think theyd know atleast if it was or not an employee in your unit. That and what else happened our first week of living here? They towed my fiancs car because they had his license plate number wrong. Not like he missed work that morning and doesnt have a family to provide for? Thankfully it never happened again, and that we had a second vehicle to pick up his car. This was my fiancs first experience of renting a home and la lady in the front from the get-go had been a debbie downer and very rude to him. Maybe she thinks shes funny, bless her heart. Though we can tell humor through disrespect. We are a young couple so of course. Ive owned two homes and rent out my properties in a different state so i figured this would be an amazing opportunity for him to learn about renting and the experience of it for himself and our little family. Its quite sad the similar folk in this situation are probably being talked down to as well because someone doesnt understand the terms of an employee whom doesnt have the mental capacity to elaborate. This all in all was an experience of a pretty down-bad complex and all of these red flags well know when we see them now for sure. Its enjoyable to live here when its the couple days of nice weather and you dont have to be in the leasing office, but definitely we are ready to no longer have a contract with these folk. We are definitely blessed to have been rented to with my fiances first time renting experience thank you and Lord I can deal with these roaches, but please turn that air conditioning on!
