Hulen Heights Apartments

I loved living here. Diane, the apartment manager is the best, she has always treated me like family. Chuy, the maintenance manager, works very quickly and will handle any problem promptly. The community is safe and the neighbors I have encountered were extremely friendly. While it is an older complex and does not have any fancy amenities, I have always felt safe here.

The Manager was very kind to my grandmother and my mother throughout our stay. My grandmother is the perfect tenant. The condo owners though r@cist & like segregation from kind people.

For delivery driver do not recommend coming here. Was only given an access code to get in but not one to get out. We kindly asked people that were smoking outside that live in the bottom apartment toward the exit if we could have the code to exit he started talking about how we should not be there and how we were lying about delivering to the apartments went as far as threatening to call the cops and told us if he ever saw us there again he would do it again Btw the code is 2468

I was apartment hunting 2 weeks ago and I haven't had a chance to post my google review. Something I never do but, I wanted to come on here to make sure everyone knew how I was treated by some one who claims to be the manager She refused to give me her name all she said was that she was the apartments manager. She looked like she was in her 70s short white hair. I am always respectful especially towards my elderlies. I walked in the office said good morning and asked if they had a 2 or 3 bedroom apartment. Rather than answering my question she asked me if I had kids. I said "yes" to which she replied "I don't put kids up stair and I only have upstairs apartments available" I asked her if she had the rite to choose for me? she said "I am the manager and I don't put kids upstairs" I asked her if that was in her criteria? and she did not reply so I asked for a copy of their criteria. Annoyed, she scattered through a few pieces of paper on top of her desk and said "I don't have one rite now" and I asked her if she could print one out she still replied that she did not have one at the moment. She also said to me "anyway to live here you must make 3x the rent and, you have to have a 700 credit score or better" as if assuming I wouldn't qualify anyways, just by looking at me. I asked what was the name of her company she gave me the name of the apartments to which I said "no that's the name of the apartment complex I'd like the name of the company. Once more she replied with annoyed tone same answer. I simply smiled and said ok never mind and walked away. As soon as I walked in I was never greeted she simply said " what do you need?" and was treated horribly. I've never personally experienced anything like this in my life. I walked to my car in disbelief with tears in my eyes i was so upset because i truly felt discriminated. The way I see it, is if you look a certain way, you automatically do not not qualify. By the way its pretty obvious when it comes to some of these "positive" reviews that these people were asked to give them by the staff. so don't be fooled.

The manager, Diane, is fantastic. The pool is great. Rent was pretty reasonable during our time here. We appreciated our experience.
