This place is awesome. Katrena and Yara were very helpful. They showed me lots of different rentals, and they were so patient with me. I always had to ask one of them, "can you please repeat that?" which can be a pain for anyone on the receiving end. They were so so so patient with me, and they took their time with me. I can't tell you how refreshing this is these days. They went above and beyond. They gave me a nice tour(s), explained the parking (which is not a big deal at all). This is a nice quiet place. Katrena and Yara explained the process to me very well. I even went back to see units again and they greeted me and made me feel comfortable. ***my rating was intended as a 5 star. I've lived her for almost 3 years. Great location and a 5min walk to and from work. This building has definitely had it's share of problems. When I first moved here in 2021, everything was great. Then, about a year later, we got new managers (Managers came and went to and from here like a revolving door) The elevators were constantly breaking down, we had hot water issues for several months at a time, and then, this past Summer, the A/C issues were out of control. The manager Heidi at the time was an absolute joke and EXTREMELY unprofessional. She didn't care about it and would actually talk down to the residents when we would talk to her about the issues. Katrina, who is the manager here now, is absolutely awesome. And, the current maintenance team is as well. Since Katrina has been here, you can tell that she has gone out of her way to tackle the issues. Things have gotten better. ie: ALL THREE elevators now work, Haven't had hot water issues since she's been here. (Unless the boilers have to be reset here and there. But, that can happen anywhere) One of the only issues right now that I can think of is the front doors. They keep them locked during the weekends and evenings when the office is closed which is great! However, they don't close all the way and lock unless you push or pull them closed. That needs to be fixed. Other than that, I'm much happier here now than I was before Katrina took over as the manager. She is definitely an asset to your team and is well liked by me and other residents that I've talked to.

Was so happy to see Dewayne back at our building today. He has been away for a week sick but thankful he has returned. Dewayne is amazing at always being very quick to fix any issues and you can defiantly tell when he is away. The building looks horrible until he came back and cleaned it back up. Please ,,Please not leave us again. Well.update. Dewayne has left and the new guy is lost. Worst mistake was letting Dewayne leave. He was doing such a great Job

the maintenance team from the regional to the in-house personnel are excellent professionals and treat my issues as if they were their own. i understand they are challenged by the age of the building. they do offer coherent solutions when delays are required. i look forward to vast improvements in the near future that will induce more positive conversations among the residents. I have enjoyed my stay here at Historic Electric Building overall and love access to the downtown lifestyle.
