Deceptive? You tell me. So my home insurance is up for renewal, and as always like clockwork we receive mailers that offer reasonable insurance quotes. Now this isn't my first rodeo, and most companies' come in rather close to the estimate that is listed on the front page letterhead. In this instance the rate was amazing with coverage descriptions on par to current market values of homes. I left my message to Graymark Insurance with the required Name, Phone Number and a specific Control Number on the advertisement. About an hour and a half later I received a call from the Sales Manager and he asked other pertinent information that I gave him and he prepared a quote based on the info I gave him. The one piece of info that puzzled me was what my current insurance rate was quoted as. Based upon the letter I was expecting the parameters they listed as the basis of my quote, what I got was a quote based on my current policy. When I called the Sales Manager back, I got the run around, and insurance double speak. What I wanted was answers that he could not or would not supply. Listen, don't offer a pizza with extra cheese, all the great toppings and side items at one price and then based of "market changes, increases or unspecified parameters" charge me or quote me something else. I have included the original mailer I received on Saturday, the Denton County Appraisal District record and then their quote and tell me if I'm incorrect or if this was just a marketing tactic to drum up business. Pretty deceptive if you ask me.

Conner was very knowledgeable and got me a quick quote. We refined it a bit for a couple of issues of personal concern, and we pulled the trigger on a pair of new policies (Home & Auto). Entire process was fast, painless, and I knew where I stood the entire time.
