The Park at Clear Lake

I wish I was able to leave a 0 star review. Literally the worst apartment I ever lived in. The apartments are falling apart. Walls are paper thin you can hear your neighbors talking, yelling. Literally hear everything. The air units leak toilet water if your on the first level apartment. ROACHESSSSSS. Roaches . Roaches. No matter how clean you are they are everywhere. Wash rooms always have homeless people in them and they always smell like pee. You would think they would replace the washers and dryers with new ones but they are just so old and dirty and never work. Your electric bill will always be high because of how old the apartments are. Had the audacity to ask me if I was renewing .. after all the problems I went through I would never . I had more than 40 maintence requests while only living here for a year. If you are thinking of moving here save your money and find a better apartment . SLUM LAWDS !

Please refrain from renting any apartments from this establishment. I submitted a request for heating repairs, but no one showed up. Upon contacting the office, they claimed they hadn't received my request, using the same excuse. As a result, my apartment's heater continues to blast heat, making the temperature unbearable for living.

UPDATE: they say theyd like to help but still have a collection against me for leaving in a hurry after being assaulted. So kind and understanding!!!NOT. Id give no stars if it was possible. I shouldve made this post much sooner than now but I couldnt bring myself to tell my story. Id like so start off by saying THE LAUNDRY ROOMS ARE NOT SAFE. I was attacked by a man holding A KNIFE TO MY NECK at 2 in the afternoon on June 6th, 2023. A police report was made, luckily a women outside was able to save my life by screaming that she was calling 911, which in turn scared the man off after pushing me down to the ground. The man ran right past the cameras but of course they were not working at the time of the incident. I went to the office in hopes to talk to them about the cameras not working and what they plan to do to prevent this in the future and what they could do to compensate me and the LEASING MANAGER was too busy to even speak with me. THEY DIDNT EVEN WARN OTHER RESIDENTS OF WHAT HAPPENED OVER EMAIL OR ANYTHING, at least warn your female residents?!? My lease was coming to an end in a month and I didnt want to wait. I was paranoid and scared and moved out. They then have reported me for not paying a cleaning fee for my apartment. The audacity. I was in a hurry to leave of course I didnt clean the place up nice and tighty for them when they didnt even have the courtesy to do anything for me. Anyways. Point being. THE LAUNDRY ROOM ISNT SAFE,THE PLACE IS ROACH INFESTED, CAMERAS PROBABLY STILL DONT WORK, NO SECURITY ON CAMPUS LIKE THEY ADVERTISE, AND NO WARNING SENT OUT IF SOMETHINF BAD IS HAPPENING ON CAMPUS. Dont let what happen to me happen to you. Goodluck.

The apartment itself i like It, but once i step outside it feels trashy from so many people loitering outside and blasting music all throughout the day and into late hours of the night like 2am..so much for getting my rest for school and work. I have told the office several times of this issue and nothing gets done. There are several cars without parking stickers and i have no where to park because of that i park on the street or a few buildings down. Some of the apartments are overcrowded with like ten people living in them when there is a limit per amount of rooms rented... So i really dont get that. So thats the thing i have contacted the office they didnt do anything about it so i had to call the police a few times for noise disturbance at 2 am from music blasting in the parking lot right in front of my building. Very disrespectful.

Roach infestations, maintenance team is hot garbage. Often wouldnt fix problems but would slap a bandaid solution on that would make the problem worse. I had a monitor to know when my apartment door was opened and they claimed the fixed my stove and they didnt even enter my apartment and my stove was still broken. The foundation is sinking, the floors slant, the balcony is rotting and my brother almost fell through it. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. EDIT BECAUSE I REALIZED THE DESCRIPTION LABELS IT AS EFFICIENT: this is one of the most energy inefficient places Ive ever lived, the insulation is terrible and the air conditioner is also terrible so in the summer it literally runs nonstop and it still only got down to 78 degrees. My energy bill in a one bedroom was the same as a 3 bedroom house.
