A college friend came to town and stayed at your hotel! I visited her, and her accommodation was lovely!

Fair warning, do not stay here. Upon entering, the customer service was beyond horrible. Extremely rude staff. Then when we go to our room, we realized how unclean it was. Blood stains on the sheets and it smelt pretty awful. Then we were trying to sleep throughout the night and got woken up around 11pm. They have trucks outside loading stuff and started it all at 11pm rather than doing it during the day. It lasted all night causing us to not get one bit of sleep. I have never had issues like this while staying at a hotel. Walking around you will also find the area very unsafe. There is no security at this hotel. All in all, do not stay here. There are better hotels in the area that you will get your moneys worth at.

St Regis at Houston looks like lost in time hotel, a quaint hotel of the gilded age and its not a vibrant hotel which you would have encountered in other Regis properties, although rooms are spacious and have decent bed but it does seem of another age and generation. Hence with so many Marriott properties in the area its easy to overlook this one and it doesnt offer as many amenities as other full Marriott ie Concierge Lounge, however Regis properties in continental America doesnt have a concept of Lounge. Gym and SPA are located on Mezzanine floor and has Peloton cycle machines Service is top notch and Hospitality from check in to check out was smooth and if you are parking and using Valet is great addition and quick. Breakfast for Marriott Bonvoy members (no lounge ) is included as part of 28 USD credit per person. I found the Breakfast at this price to be lacking in value but smoothie was good.
