AMS Vans

Purchased a van from AMS over 10 years ago, yes there were minor issues that were never addressed, but overall it was an ok experience, better than the mobility company we had used for the previous wheelchair van, so we went to see what options were available. Showed up, and from the start, I didn't feel they wanted our business. When we confirmed who we were there to see, he didn't even stand up or shake our hand. Discussed our needs and prices and he was very well informed, but didn't seem to really get some of our focuses. Decided we'd follow up later and left, still no handshake, which as a person who has worked in sales, seemed odd. Ended up going straight to another mobility provider and found a better selection, better prices and a sales person that understood our needs. Even got our handshakes the moment we walked in (lol). While we will still keep our original AMS van, which is still going strong, as a second vehicle, I don't think we would return in the future. Maybe it was a one time thing, maybe it was an off day, but as a business first impressions are everything, and after debriefing the day, I thought maybe I was just overthinking or over analyzing the situation, but the person I was with said they felt the exact same way. Two stars, because it wasn't a horrible experience, but it was definitely below average.

If you need hand controls, I would highly recommend this facility. After calling all the places in the Houston area for prices, AMS in Pearland was significantly less than everyone else and Michael Galloway was a pleasure to work with.

I have had my 2023 toyota sienna van repaired 3 times. This AMS van we have is better than the Braun van we previously had but handicap vans in general are prone to break down

If you are in the market for a mobility Van. This is the place and Santosh Shankar is the guy. Helped me find the van and got it ready and the delivery process was fantastic. Everything went Smoothly and the delivery guy Mark explained everything in detail. Outstanding process and will send anyone looking for a van to both.
